Owners Joe and Janet Tegtmeier have been managing the company since 2003.
They owned and operated two restaurant franchises for ten years before selling them
in 2008. Together, they have over 35 years of combined experience in Institutional and Restaurant/Retail Food Service, ranging from cooking and food prep, baking, serving, deli management, festival coordination, food merchandising, wholesale distribution, restaurant operations, small business and employee management, and of course, purchasing.
Their purchasing knowledge and experience is founded on a wide range of associations, from small local sellers to national broad-line distributors. They understand that while many needs of a restaurant owner can be met with a large distributor, the unique style that each independent restaurant expresses must also be addressed. They can negotiate with large distributors to take advantage of the same benefits that national chains receive and offer them to their group of independent operators.
